The Tax Free Counter,  TOKYU PLAZA GINZA,  is located in GINZA, Tokyo.

Tokyu Plaza Ginza is a shopping complex that offers a unique blend of traditional and modern experiences. The building's design is inspired by the Japanese traditional craft of "Edokiriko," featuring faceted glass. The complex houses a wide range of fashion stores, general goods shops, restaurants, cafes, and other businesses.

The "Find Japan Market” on the 6th and 7th floors is a zone dedicated to showcasing authentic, world-class Japanese products. On the 6th floor, visitors can explore a market offering fashion and miscellaneous goods for adults seeking high-quality, authentic items. On the 7th floor, there is a new type of enterprise called "Tokyu Hands," which aims to spread original Japanese culture. Additionally, the complex features several flagship shops of global brands on the road surface area.

  • No returns accepted after the tax refund process is completed.

  • Tax-free goods must be exported by yourself. You are not allowed to transfer or consume the tax-free goods in Japan.

  • Tax-free goods cannot be purchased for business, commercial or resale purposes.

  • Please present your passport and the purchased goods at customs upon departure.

  • If you do not possess the tax-free goods upon departure, you have to pay the consumption tax at customs.

  • Total purchase amount must be at least 5000 JPY (excluding tax) from PIE VAT stores in the same mall on the same day.

  • Non-resident foreign citizens with “Temporary Visitor (within 6 months)”, “Diplomat” or “Official”
    status of residence.

  • Non-resident Japanese citizens who can provide documentary proof of residing outside of Japan continuously for at least 2 years.
